E-Recycling Day

Recycle your unwanted/outdated electronics responsibly! The City of Leawood’s Sustainability Advisory Board and Midwest Recycling Center will be offering contact-less drop off of items such as TVs, cellphones, gaming systems, home appliances and much more on Saturday, July 20, 2023 from 8am – 12pm at Town Center Plaza.

E-recycling will occur first come, first served – items will be accepted through 12pm or until the trucks are full.

A wide variety of electronics can be recycled for free. Some electronics have associated recycling fees. Please click here to view the list of recyclable items and any associated fees.

**FOR ITEMS WITH ASSOCIATED FEES: PAYMENTS ARE CASH OR CHECK ONLY. CHECKS CAN BE MADE OUT TO MRC RECYCLING.**

HOW IT WORKS:

Friendly staff and volunteers will be ready to direct you through the event in an organized manner. MRC will have staff to unload your vehicle of your electronics for proper recycling. Simply tell the staff what you have to drop off and where it is located; pop the trunk open, if needed. The MRC staff and Leawood City volunteers will take care of the rest!

The event will take place in the north parking lot of Town Center Plaza. Please enter via 117 St. from Nall Ave. or Town Center Dr. from Roe Ave.
